Life Support Cares mission is to provide basic physical needs such as food, clothing, and hygiene/household products to low income families and individuals.
Jamelia Martin and Ashley Haskel met in 2011 while both working as Case Managers for a local mental healthcare facility. They both realized that they shared the same dreams, goals, and aspirations. Together they share a genuine desire to help others and decided to use this passion to establish Life Support Cares.
Jamelia is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi where she obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology. Jamelia is also a graduate of the University of Phoenix where she obtained a Master's of Science in Psychology. Jamelia is a native of Natchez, MS but currently resides in Dallas, TX with her daughters Gabryn & Jayci Jones. Jamelia is a member of Logos Missionary Baptist Church.
Ashley is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi where she obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology. Ashley is also a graduate of the University of Phoenix where she obtained a Master's of Science in Psychology. Ashley is a native of Laurel, MS but currently resides in Hattiesburg, MS with her husband Danny Haskel Sr. and two daughters Jada Jackson and Danyelle Haskel and son Danny Haskel Jr. Ashley and her family are members of Grace Temple Ministries.
Establishing a nonprofit organization has been a dream that both ladies shared. Their resilient spirits have allowed them to overcome all obstacles placed before them. Through faith and prayer, Jamelia and Ashley have embarked on a journey to assist the community through Life Support Cares.
